VIDEOS (AND MORE) FROM ‘CARLOS STEELE MUSIC’ >>
On top of being a musical artist, Steele has a firm background in film, and both written and visual storytelling. Having been raised by parents whom collectively and individually always possessed a keen interest in (and love for) movies, film history, and the evolution of cinema all around, the New Mexican guitarist grew smitten with the moving image at an especially young age…
With his passion for the medium increasing throughout his adolescent years (notably into high school), Steele decided to commit his undergraduate studies to the digital arts at the University of New Mexico (Main Campus - Albuquerque), declaring a B.A. course within the Department of Film & Digital Media, concentrated in Film History & Criticism.
Coupled with his efforts in furthering his musical career, Steele has implemented his learned cinematic skills into various music videos and short film projects (highlighted instances of which are **linked below**), and continues to practice writing for the screen, reviewing films through written criticism, and realizing both smaller and larger-scale short and feature-length projects.
